Even if it's much more than a reader, you should enlighten me if then it is more than just a PIM, and I'm sure that 99% of the users use it as such. That's why I believe that many of its features are unnecessary; just excuses to stick an upgrade up our collective ascii every year.

I think that if anything, MS developers need a bit more malice. It's very difficult as it is, to write software that will make everybody happy and that's why we end up with so many unused features in the apps we get from them, but when adding features that can actually trigger the execution of external code, these should be disabled by default.
