Actually, shortly after I posted the above I discovered that if two chr(7) are issued one right after the other, only one of them sounds.

Then I also found that I could use _screen.print("blablabla") and I get my trace right there on the screen.

this.mouth.foot.release() <--- well, at least I got the oop syntax right ;-)
