Hello, Les.

I've searched high and low among my environment
variables and in the registry and found no references
to the password file.

Orapwd utility usage:
orapwd file=(fname) password=(password) entries=(users)
where
file - full name of password file (mand), in my case
it was d:\orant\database\ora.pwd

Orapwd should store this information somewhere for Oracle to
read. Anyway, i assume that a reference to the password file
is out there in the deep registry.

Best wishes
Kamil.
