I'm in a very similar situation. I've been back to fox programming after a 7 year absence and you are right... we are not is Kansas anymore.

Nick is right about the grids.

You may also wish to think about an option group on your form to change to the different index orders. In the chapter on Controls in the MSDN library you will find some code in the option group topic that can get you started. It was one of the first things I played with in creating forms.
