You are correct that the fpt contains the memo field. To view a the memo associated with one record.
USE MyTable
BROWSE
In the MemoField, you will see either memo or Memo where memo indicates that the memo field is empty, and Memo indicates the memo field is not empty. Doiubleclick on Memo to view its contents.
