>I have a small exe which does not use any tables or databases. It has 1 screen which is basically used to unzip a dynazip file. The form calls a procedure file which registers the dzunzip functions and executes them. When finished the screen is released. In the unload of the screen I have 'clear events' and 'clear dlls'. The screen closes but the VFP main window will not. If I click on the close button, or if I ctrl+alt+del I get the dreaded 'Cannot Quit Foxpro'. If I change to another screen and put clear events in the unload of the screen everything works. IMHO something in the screen is screwey but what could it be and how could I check for it? Thanks.

Calvin, do you have ON SHUTDOWN ... command in your main.prg?
In your case it may be
ON SHUTDOWN QUIT
