Oh boy...the dumbest thing I ever did was work too late one night messing with a hard drive I was trying to put Linux on. After struggling and struggling, I finally decided to put in a DOS boot disk, run fdisk, and clear off the drive I was working on to start over.

Problem was, when I woke up the next morning I found that I had fdisked the wrong _physical_ drive, so not only was I back to square one with Linux, my Windows partition was completely obliterated as well! YIKES! Got to test my tape backup that time... Hee hee!
