...Can you tell me how your little program works before I run it?

Sure... the program will use a file I've created to transfer info from your dbf. It will loop through your file and transfer info to the file I send you. There are two fields in the file... one for the order number and one to store the keywords information. What you will have when the program is done is a file that has each order number and all the keywords (with the space between that you requested) for that order number. You can then use that file to print a report or view etc.

HOWEVER.... I must have the EXACT place where the order number is in the field2 memo field. By that I mean.... is the order number the first six characters in the memo? Is the data entered consistantly? If the order number is not the first 6 characters where does it start. I really have to get this info!

Does that accomplish what you need?
