It's not too bad on this monitor. There's just not enough space if I put it at 800x600. Here at work, I sit right up close to my monitor. At home I have trouble since I'm so far away.

>I can't imagine even running at 1024x768 on a 17" monitor. I have a nice expensive 17" Sony Trinitron at home (with very vivid colors) and even on that I get eyestrain in one hour if I go past 800x600. I haven't tried Dave F.'s suggestions.
