>Both vbs and js files are real text files. It's the association to the WSH that actually controls their behavior when you double click them. See below.

I guess I wasn't clear. I meant I'll only open the ones where the _extension_ is truely .txt and not .txt.vbs.

>The book might make it easier. As for the MSDN Library...it's free. One year of absolutely update documentation, plus the MS KB. Go get one. It's one of the most invaluable tools I've got.

I have no idea if we registered our VS6 or not. I'll ask around and see if we're still eligible.

>< g > Just open Notepad, paste it in and save it with the extension VBS. That's it. Then all you have to do is double click it. Well, if you don't have the WSH installed you'll have to install that. If you do, its type in the Windows Explorer will be VBScript Script File.

Hmmm... If you can run it by double clicking it, then I think I can call it from the batch file. The script won't do me any good without running the rest of the batch file first. :)

If I get this all together and working, is it ok to post it on the SBT Loop? I'll give you credit.

Thanks,

Michelle
