Hi again,

I also notice that on the particular table in question
2 of the main fields that are indexed the same behave differently
when I run a query even without the macro expansion
I have 2 fields nlast indexed on UPPER(nlast) and nfirst indexed on UPPER(nfirst)
A query runs faster on UPPER(nfirst) than UPPER(nlast)

Weird ????
