If you're sure you're using Outlook (inside a corporate app for example) OLE Automation does a great job. I have one app that sends out about 500 emails per day, each with a different Excel file and Word file attached. It notifies customers of when their products were shipped and what the QA analysis was, and the 'message' part includes URLs for the shipment as well as other data.
