Well, unfortunately that won't work for me because I want to use one of the drop down boxes ~the ID number of the product~ as the search control. IOW, scroll down to the ID you're looking for, and the info for that record shows up in all the other textboxes on the form.

Only pressing ~new entry~ would clear the screen and allow information to be entered.
