Try loading your array in init instead of load. The position of the controls on your form is irrelevant unless your combobox is dropping down over the grid and you wind up clicking the grid instead of the dropped down combobox. The other thing to watch out for with a combobox is timers. Timers can interfere with the normal operation of a combobox. HTH
