I have a form subclassed form cbizobjmaintenance. Page 1 is a company list and page 2 has the detail controls. Page 3 is has the controls for a child table(view), which I want to be one record per parent record. I do want to create a new child with a new parent. I have set the lNewChildOnNewParent on the child biz obj. I have tried to replace the foreign key in the child form the prerequeryhook and from the presavehook of the chilc biz obj. I am getting the 1547 error. As I understand, the message is because there is no data in the child record as it is being saved. I have also set the primary key to default newid(). Is there another something or other that I missed?
