Thank you for your reply. I don't understand your question but you can establish connection from any where you want. Assume that your application use both database from VFP and SQL Server. Moreover, assume that your application make user log in to its system. I think your login screen has enough information to access the SQL Server. I use the parameter from login screen to make string and put it in SQLStringConnect function. It works fine. I'm sorry if I misunterstand the question.
