>Nah, it's on my local drive, which is not sharable, when I turn off read only it says "file access denied" or claims that it can't even change the file. Is it just the .dbc that I should need to change?
If you're running NT or Win2K, the currently logged-in user may not have rights to all files in all folders, particularly under NTFS, if the account does not hold local Administrative privileges. If this is the case, have someone log into your system as the Administrator and do the work, or assign you the necessary rights at the file or folder level.
