Something I would suggest looking into is the use of a prg to generate your dbc, tables, views and indexes. Try looking at gendbc.prg and using it on a test dbc. Examine the code generated to understand what has happened. This is a very useful way to re create your data structure. After becoming accustomed to this method, it is easy to create views, etc. and you can regenerate everything when needed.
