As far as I remember, I made my first animations with FoxPro 2.0 DOS in 1991.
Imagine the warehouse doors (it was the app for the supermarket) with a big metal bar across and the lock on the bar. The login window appears on the right door. If the login is valid - the lock opens and drops on the floor, the bar moves sideways and the doors open. I still have the FoxPro function somewhere which moves the window to the certain point on the screen by the given trajectory...
