Anyone else feel free to jump in here ... we still don't have the mystery solved. < g >

>My clients are on a Novell Netware network. They are accessing a FoxPro database thru an ODBC connection for reporting (I believe they're doing some stuff with Excel, not sure exactly though at this point and I don't think it matters). Anyway, when they had network access rights set up for read-write to the network drive, they had no problems whatsoever accessing the Foxpro database thru ODBC. They set up another group with read-only access and cannot access the Foxpro database in this situation. They get an error that the .DCT memo file is missing or invalid.

>Does anybody know if this is a Netware problem or an ODBC problem? They didn't know what version their ODBC driver was, but they said they had updated it only a few months ago.

>I can get more info from them if necessary. It's not something I've been working on for them, so I don't know all the particulars.
