>Any words of wisdom for reinstalling Visual Studio 6? The VFP-created Setup install didn't make my problem go away and reinstalling VFP SP3 didn't do anything either. I'm concerned if I reinstall, the setup will see the files it's trying to install already in place and skip over them when I really might want to have them replaced (with one of the same date and version). I was thinking to uninstall first then reinstall. What would you do if you were in this situation? (Aw, just pretend.)

I'd uninstall completely, defragment the drive(s), then reinstall VS6 completely, then install the latest MSDN Library, then apply the VS SP3 or 4 that I was going to work under, then apply the latest OS SPs. But I have good backups IAC, so it's possible to get back to a working condition, because I back up everything before doing something like applying an SP.
