A dialog will come up that has a drop down (at the bottom left) for file types. I've had the most success with the FoxPro choice and I would avoid the FoxPro 3.0 choice. I just tested this and it imported fine. The one area that might give problem would be if the VFP files made heavy use of memo fields. For some reason Access 97 can flame with those.

The files are part of the DBC in my VFP app. We are paid here to create a canned app for use by the military and this base is taking the data out of the app to create their own access app for their group. So I wont be exporting or manipulating my app data unless I am told by my management. 99.9% of the military bases using the VFP app have no problem, this base just likes to be a little different. I have requested that they submit a System Improvement Request so that my VFP app can be taylored to do their task, but they declined. I think that they would rather have their own people creating a similar app so that they can put their name on it versus showing off our app. The problem is that they can not get the data, only we have access to it for distribution. We also dont charge them any money to have the app and any updates.
