Erik, that does the same thing I described previously: switches to Netscape but does not open
the file I double clicked.

And although it didn't work Mike, I checked the default action and it is Open.

I just tried the same on a co-workers machine: saved the file locally and with NS open, had him double click
the file and it opened a separate NS window. Now I'm confused.

The way my machine switches to the existing Netscape window versus the way IE opens a new separate window
(and my co-worker's Netscape does) is weird. I know with Netscape, if you do File->New->Navigator Window
it opens an additional window that is part of the same executable (if one crashes, they all will) but if you
double click the executable again, you get separate instances of Netscape (they can independently crash :-) ).
This was something I was wondering if it was part of the problem. I am wondering if there is a parameter
to pass to Netscape in the 4th parameter of shellexecute() to force it to start a new instance of itself?

Barring figuring this out, what is the simplest way to force an html document to open in IE, ignoring the users
default browser?
