Please don't use angle brackets in your message unless you're including an HTML tag. Otherwise, they disappear.
Are you saying that the cursor could be in the textbox, then after some time, it disappears without pressing any keys? Is there some kind of timer event on your form? If so, use Barbara's suggestion for using SET CURSOR ON after the timer does its thing.
