A download manager like GetRight simplifies the process - GetRight snags the list of URLs and downloads them unattended, starting new sessions as needed, and often being able to direct multiple download sessions to multiple FTP sites, making life that much easier. I think it's well worth the cost of registering the shareware; it can be downloaded and tried for 30 days before becoming nagware, and it does lots of neat stuff, like hunt up multiple potential FTP sites carrying a file, and splitting downloading of segments of a file across multiple FTP servers to get around sites that throttle. www.getright.com
