>Jim Booth gave us a day's worth of training at Midwest FoxPro User's Group here in Kansas City last year. He said that he loved going to the DevCon in Germany. (He was leaving for Germany the next week.) He encouraged us to go. The cost to attend wouldn't really be more than going to a DevCon here in the US, he said, and the beer was a heck of a lot better. From what he said, there were more than enough conferences there in English to make it worthwhile. I'd like to see the company pay for me to go to Europe!

You might want to look at the Great Lakes Great Database Workshop, also known as Whilfest. It's going on the first week of November in Milwaukee. It's less expensive than DevCon and will have many of the same speakers and topics...as well as some things that you've never seen at a DevCon. More info at www.hentzenwerke.com.
