Register with search engine.

As was mentioned earlier in this thread, you can register with some companies (and pay a small fee)and they will have one of their emplyees regsiter your site with many search engines (some of which you may not have heard of). Or you can invest the time and register your site with a select few.

Either way, you have to have the content in your page in order for it to come up on a search.
