I have recently noticed a problem on several PCs running VfP5 with Windows 98. I'm not sure if the problem has just started or it's something I just haven't noticed, as I normally use the mouse.

When moving about list boxes, trees, etc with the up & down arrow keys, just occassionally the highlighted item skips 2, 3, 4 or 5 times, seeming to have received multiple key presses. The problem occurs in VfP (e.g. Project Manager window) & in applications. The problem does not occur when moving about trees using the left/right arrow keys.

The problem is not due to holding the key down too long & does not occur in any other program (as far as I can tell).

I have tried altering the repeat delay/rate settings in control panel. I have also tried setting typeahead to 0. The only thing that seems to cure the problem is to put about 1 - 2 second delay in the keypress event (obviously not a viable option).

Has anyone else seen this problem (I've checked latest Knowledge Base & can't find any mention). Anyone got any suggestions on a cure ?
