I have used several modal forms to conduct specific functions. When a form's exit button is pressed, the form is released and the previous calling form is activated. Yet, the image of the released form is still visible behind the active form and on top of the main form. These images disappear when I return to the main form and it is refreshed.

But, I can't get the main form to refresh while the focus is on any of the 'sub-forms' called by it. The forms work fine, but it looks unprofessional to have this accumulation of "ghost" forms between the main form and the active 'sub-form'.

Have you seen this effect? How can I prevent it?
