I can format the date records anyway I would like them. Right now they are in the form mm/dd/yy, but i could just as easily make them mmddyy or any other format for that matter. Right now columns are seperated by a single comma and none of the fields have quotes around them.
I have another question if you don't mind. right now i am just using the wizard to import the file, but i am going to have to write a program to do it so that the user can do it (select the input file and then have it imported for them). The incoming file will be exactly the same everytime and I will know how it will be set up, so I can pre-set all of the things like how it is delimitted and what kind of fields they are supposed to be. I don't know much about the code that the wizard uses, is it out there somewhere to be viewed?
