Nope. Changes were made to the FRX format in later versions, and you won't be able to open in the report in 2.6 because 2.6 lacked the ability to peer into the future.

Okay, I guess there is one thing you could do: study the differences between the two formats, and eliminate the extra fields in the 6.0 report. It'd probably be quicker to recreate the report, though. In the future, if you need to swap back and forth between versions, create the report in 2.6 and convert it in 6.0.
