Try wrapping the print program inside a PRINTJOB / ENDPRINTJOB command structure. This is the most elegant solution when bypassing the printer driver.
An alternative may be to send the contents of _PECODE, via "??? _PECODE". This is assuming that you are using the proper printer setup codes, because _PECODE may contain nothing if you are not using a print driver.
Lastly, if all else fails, send an EJECT via "??? EJECT"
