Yes I can, but here's the scenario. The user runs a VFP app, selects an option which launches Word and creates a doc. When it's done, the doc is displayed in the MS Word window and the user can do whatever he wants with it. Ideally, I would like the total to be updated automatically as soon as the user changes a number, but if not, then a one step process like a button. The edit->SelectAll and update fields requires the user to actually know something about Word beyond the type in my stuff and press the printer icon :-)

BTW thanks for the comment about the virii - hadn't thought about that.
