Thanks. It would also have been ok to say that this was still not the final build, with the usual warnings etc.

I was getting a little concerned, because ISTR that there were issues with Windows 2000 and IE 5.5 Beta, with warnings not to install it on Windows 2000 [it's possible I've got this a little confused].

I've found a link to the readme for what looks like the final build of 5.5 :
