Hi Sharon,
I run Crystal Reports from within VFP quite a bit. They have a neat object model and are easy to control. They provide powerful preview and export functionality that really make life easy for some of my users.
I'm not saying they're the only option, but they are a powerful tool to have in the toolbox.
