For VFP developers there are four ways to intergrate it into VFP:

1. The Crystal Reports activeX control (the one you discovered). This is the most simple and staightahead way.

2. Using the CR API. Complex and difficult to intergrate (structures with pointers) but very powerfull

3. The CRPE automation server. Very flexible but is being discontinued. Will be supported in next versions for backward compatability

4. the RDC automation server. The most advanced one, that even allows you to build your own report writer. The RDC am is use in conjunction with the Smart viewer activeX control to display previews.
