I was prototyping a form, minding my own business. Then I made the value of a Text Label control (Compliance) and not "(Compliance)". Then I closed the form, tried to open it again, and VFP just said [Syntax Error] and refused to let me open it.

I then opened the form as a table, found the offending stuff, and put quotes around it. Now it opens fine.
