Is there a way to capture the number of an identity field after doing an ADO Recordset.Addnew ising ASP?
Even after Recordset.Update, the identity field returns .

For a one-two-many relationship from table1 to table2,
I need to insert a record into table1 get ID and populate table2 with set of records and new ID.

What is a better way of doing this?
