When you move the record pointer in a parent table, VFP automatically sets the record pointer on the child table to the first child record. You are probably 'moving' the record pointer. Remember that even "go recno()" will cause VFP to THINK you've moved the record pointer, and there may be code in the parent classes of your listbox that affects the pointer.
