>Is there a way, i can access the help database. I have this application, which has this help linked to "File.HLP". Is this stored as a database somewhere ? Instead of me going into each module and searching and pointing to the screens and reading description, is there a way, i can search for it in the hlp file and extracting the info ?

A HLP file is a compiled Windows Help file; it's not a standard DBF that can be searched with VFP. You might want to investigate the entry on WinHelp in the MSDN Library
