To drop an OCX on a form (like the MS Progress Bar 6.0) requires the item be activated through Tools-Options-Controls. One of the setup wizards screen asks that to check for VFP RunTime and Active-X (among others). If you need setup to deploy the OCX service(s), click the Active-X option. There may be Explorer page fault issues at install - but that would be another topic.

Sure you can. Using the setup wizard is an acquired skill. You got to practice, practice ... practice.
