I took a look at it, but that's not quite the functionality that I'm looking for. Actually I'm looking to allow multiple code editing windows by issuing a MODI COMM myprog.prg.

What would you think about using AddObj() to add a timer object to the window? Then just have the timer looking for This.Parent.Visible? When It's not visible any more, disable the timer and release the window object.

Plausible?
