Jimmy - your probably not getting a response because the behavior your experiencing is not suppose to happen & nobody has never seen it before. Atleast I have never heard nor seen seek() deleting data. So I would think either you got corrupted indexes and VFP doesnt realize their corrupted, or you need to reinstall VFP.
