I have a friend that developed a web app that includes a vfp component used as an automation server. He sent it to me so that I can see what he had produced. In his instructions he writes:

" In order for the web application to work, you'll need to temporaily call your web server myWebServer. I did not have time to figure out how to reassign the web application to a different named server...sorry.."

I am new to windwos 2000 server. When I initially installed windows 2000 server I was assigned the name neil-z6zfug61c for the web server by the setup program. How do I get my friends web app to think that neil-z6zfug61c is named: myWebServer?

Neil
