Hi,

I have been using the DBI-Tech Solutions Explorer for a year or two and it has been working good. I have apparently been lucky that my customers have put my applications on newer PCs, becuase I just bumped into a problem on older PCs.

I primarily use the Listbar, Treeview, and Listview portions of this control (similar to the default view of Outlook 98/2000). When a user presses a button on the listbar, I repopulate the treeview and listview from various database tables.

I just encountered an experince where a user installed one of my apps on a couple of older PCs (in the P120/P166 range). On these older PCs, the Treeview and Listview portions of this control do not refresh as buttons are pressed on the Listbar. It appears that either the code is running properly but for some reason the control is not refreshing, OR the code is not running properly on the old PCs. And no errors are raised.

But get this. We thought it was a memory problem so they upgraded from 32MB to 96MB of RAM on both machines and there was no improvement. We then thought there may be a problem with Windows itself, so one of the PCs was reformatted and a clean install of Win95 was put on. Again, there was no improvement to this problem.

I've check the AutoYield property and it is FALSE as it should be.

Has anybody seen this kind of problem before or have any ideas what else I can check for?

Guy
