You can only use the ASCII clause when writing to a file. I'm not sure if using a non-true type font prints in graphics mode or not. You might want to do some experimenting with various fonts. Obviously, you also want to avoid using any graphics in the report.

I've heard someone say that they were able to preview a report on a machine that didn't have any printer drivers installed, but that surprises me. You certainly can't print without a printer driver. The problem is that VFP needs to know which printer driver you want so it knows where page breaks will fall and other printer specific issues. There is a generic printer driver that you can install.
