>Nothing wrong with Baptists mind you. I spent the better part of 18 years in full time music ministry working with Baptist churches so I can speak with some knowledge.

>I've had a few community choirs that did a lot of Rutter and I had the privilidge of working with him at a choral symposium many years ago. He is a choral genius.

>While there are some Baptist choirs that do his work I think that his main stay would be in the Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcipal, etc denominations.
Does the fact that I'm an Episcopalian say anything?< g > Vocally Rutter's work is very challenging, but I love doing his stuff. I've had the priviledge of doing Candlelight Carol, Chorister's Prayer, and his setting of the 23rd Psalm among others. Fortunately, I was with a very talented choir at the time (called by one well known Episcopalian choir director as perhaps the best for its size in the country). Even so, a lot of hard work went into doing the pieces. Beautiful, but very challenging.
