Since I posted this thread, our management group has been talking, we probably don't need SQL Server at this point. I will make the case for Web Connect from a productivity stand-point. Thanks for lending your experience.

I know there are always political IS issues involved when choosing a platform, but Rick's product probably exceeds the next-10-years needs analysis for 98% of all web database apps in the pipeline... all for under a $1000, including VFP itself. Now that's a big bang for the buck.
