>I think I have all of the controls and properties set right - but even if I go into the .scx to hack the form, everything just says memo in it and will not allow me to make any changes. In order for it to work, doesn't the class and base class have to be set to the proper class rather than the defaults?
Tina, you don't need to hack the .SCX or somehow change the Class and Baseclass properties. All you need - just to add the desired control to the grid column from the Form Controls toolbar, and then delete the default textbox. You may even leave the default textbox in the column, in this case you just need to change the column.CurrentControl property to Ingrid.
