I couldn't find my cheat sheet. Just tested on VFP and FPW tables, which both have the record number in the same place.

You are right. I guess I need to make myself a new cheat sheet!

.The record count in HEX is 00 07. If it were, say 260 records, bytes 5 and 6 would show as 04 01, meaning 01 04 (256 + 4).
